How to Forward Your Calls to PATLive

Forwarding your calls to PATLive ensures that your business stays connected, even when you can't answer the phone. Below, we'll walk you through the three most common ways to forward calls: Manual Forwarding, Scheduled Forwarding, and Overflow Forwarding

Manual Forwarding

  • This is the most straightforward way to forward your calls and can typically be done directly from your phone. Here are the instructions for popular carriers:

AT&T Wireless

    • Dial *21 followed by your PATLive service number, then press the # key.
    • Press the call button and listen for a successful response from the auto-attendant.
    • To disable call forwarding, dial #21#.

Verizon Wireless

    • Dial *72 followed by your PATLive service number.
    • Press the call button and listen for a successful response from the auto-attendant.
    • To turn off forwarding, dial *73.

T-Mobile

    • Dial *21 followed by your PATLive service number, then press #.
    • Press the call button and listen for a successful response from the auto-attendant.
    • To disable, dial ##004#.

Tresta

    • From the top navigation menu, select "System" (it has a gear icon next to it).
    • From the left-side navigation menu, click "Phone Numbers."
    • Click the ‘Edit’ icon next to the phone number you wish to modify.  (The icon looks like a pen and paper)
    • Change the drop down that states “When this phone number receives a call” to ensure that it indicates to ‘send the call to a forwarding number’.
    • Select an existing forwarding number or create a new one.
    • Click the orange SAVE button at the top of the screen.

Landlines

    • Most landlines use *72 to enable call forwarding and *73 to disable it. Check with your provider for specific instructions.

Scheduled Forwarding

  • Scheduled forwarding allows you to automatically forward your calls to PATLive during specific times, such as after hours or on weekends. To set this up, you’ll need to reach out to your phone provider to see what options they offer and have them configure it for you.

Overflow Forwarding

  • Overflow forwarding ensures that if your primary line is busy, calls are automatically forwarded to PATLive. This can be a great way to ensure you never miss an important call. To enable this, contact your provider for assistance with configuration.

Additional Options

If you no longer need your old carrier and want PATLive to take all your calls, you have the option to port your number to PATLive. Visit our Number Porting page for more details.

Tips

  • Always test your forwarding setup to ensure it works correctly.
